MALE‘ MALDIVES: Mariyam Eema Mohamed has won the title of Miss World Maldives 2026, earning the opportunity to officially represent the nation at the prestigious Miss World pageant. She was crowned during a ceremony held on August 3.
This achievement marks the very first time the Maldives will have an official contestant in the Miss World competition. At 23 years old, Eema is a well-known and experienced model in the industry, and her landmark victory opens up new opportunities for the country in international modeling and pageantry.
Although the Maldives co-hosted the 50th Miss World pageant back in the year 2000, an official participant from the country had never competed in the contest until now. Eema is set to represent the Maldives at the 75th Miss World Festival in Vietnam, which will run from August 9 to September 5, offering an important platform to highlight the nation on the global stage.
