UKULHAS: Maldives President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed arrived in AA. Ukulhas today for an official visit. Upon their arrival, the presidential couple was accorded a warm welcome by members of the Ukulhas Island Council, heads of various local institutions, and a large gathering of community residents.

Accompanying the President and First Lady on this official trip is a high-level delegation, including several Cabinet Ministers, as well as senior leaders from government offices and state-owned enterprises.

During the visit, President Muizzu will participate in key high-level events, including the closing ceremony of the Small Island Developing States Supreme Audit Institutions (SIDS-SAI) Symposium and the inaugural ceremony of the INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI) Global Summit.

According to the President’s Office, President Muizzu is also scheduled to hold meetings with members of the Ukulhas Island Council and the Women’s Development Committee (WDC). Furthermore, he will take part in official ceremonies marking various government-led development initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure and community welfare on the island.
