MALÉ, Maldives — The Malé City Council has officially opened a new bus stop at Maafannu Maizaan, marking another step forward in the capital’s ongoing effort to improve public transit infrastructure and commuter safety.
The new facility is designed to enhance everyday public transport operations by providing a structured, safer, and more convenient waiting space for passengers. Situated at a prominent location within Maafannu, the dedicated bus stop aims to streamline boarding and alighting, encouraging smoother traffic flow and reducing road congestion in the surrounding area.
